Oh, the "not" joke. It never gets old...not.
Anyways, Jody definitely does not love the job search, especially during these economically shit times. And on top of the scarcity of jobs is all the shady companies and scams I've run into. Shame on those shady people trying to take advantage of poor little me who just wants to get out of this house and get paid to do so! I am two days away from applying for a seasonal retail position.
Today I applied for my first real prospect in a couple of weeks so wish me luck!

Grey's Anatomy
When I moved to Japan one of my main concerns was how I was going to get my Grey's Anatomy fix. I hadn't yet discovered the wonderful world of torrents and iTunes wasn't carrying it yet. Being a devout follower of the show this troubled me greatly. Thankfully before I left iTunes started to offer Grey's so that was one less thing I had to worry about.
The story line for seasons one - three was great. Drama between Meredith and McDreamy, Derek and Addison, Addison and Mark, Christina and Burke, Izzie and Karev, George and Callie - it was all so good! Then season four came about and it was a little questionable. But we just had to have faith that Shonda knew what she was doing and she wouldn't do us wrong. And she saved it! Saved it big time with the season finale. Fabulous. But now we're back to wondering, "What the hell are you thinking Shonda???" We'll just have to have faith in Shonda to carry us through this riduculous story line with Izzie and her dead ex-"fiance" who's back from the dead. Or whatever.
I raved so much about the show that I got my friends in Japan hooked and now have been sitting through a seasons 1 - 3 marathon with my siblings. Tis wonderful to be reliving all the Grey's dramz!

making lists
I am a list person. The only way I function and get anything done during the day is with a long list of things to do. I've listed all the things I want to do before I die. I've listed books I've read, books I want to read, books I couldn't finish. Same goes for movies. I've lists of trips that I want to take and people I need to write back. So how better to run this blog than as a list of things I like and don't like? Sounds perfect. Done and done.
